Tips to extending the life of our sheds.
1) We recommend that staining of the shed usually wait to be done typically 30-45 days after the shed has been built. This allows for greater airing of the wood in the wet, hot and humid times of the year when molding can accure. Treating this with bleach and water should be sufficient. It may require a solution but not all the time. Ponderosa Pines Wood Products are not responsible for treating your new shed. This is a natural occurrence by mother nature and can not be determined by us. Please take the proper steps in maintaining your new shed. 2) Because we use rough sawn lumber, there are occasions where small amounts bark are left on the wood. In no way does this effect the strength or integrity of the product. 3) Typical lengths for one of our shes to season it about 12 months. This is what makes our sheds so strong when it has a chance to weather naturally the saps and oils in the wood bind and this makes the product stronger and more resilient.
